Observation details
Originally identified as Ciccaba albitarsis, not known to be present in Santa Marta, because of the barring in the underparts and the similarity of one of the vocalizations in the Macaulay Library with the calls we recorded. Having revised all of this, and seeing that all fits well, and very specially the identicality of the call we recorded with a sample of call of Asio stygius in the Macaulay Library, I realize that Avery is right, change the species and inform J.L. Pushaina, who also follows suit.
