Observation details
Known location for the species in Palm Beach County. The bird looks like one of our ubiquitous Fish Crows – a large, all black corvid, but the short, non-nasal “Caw” call distinguishes the species. I took photos and recorded audio. I saw and heard the bird on the Palm Beach County side of the Canal Levee. This was the only bird I saw or heard; none were on the Broward side. It flew in from the north. I later saw the bird around 1 mile to the east, as I was driving home. The audio isn’t great, but it should be good enough to prove the observation.
