Observation details
Two adults (Larus fuscus graellii) & one immature second winter. The adults had yellow legs. They were larger than the RBGUs and smaller than the HERGs. The mantle on the adults was blackish going to a lighter slate color on the back. An immature BAEA, continually, flew over the flock and put the gull flock into flight. I was stopped by a thunderstorm. There is an old record that was probably someone who attended the Wilson’s Ornithological Society meeting at Purdue but was, really, seen at Willow Slough F&W Area????
