Media notes
A male juvenile Pileated Woodpecker begging and being fed by an adult male at a suet feeder. The rapid series of low-pitched calls is when feeding is actually occurring. Possibly the same adult male as in previous recordings, but there are two juvenile males and two juvenile females coming to the feeders. It is impossible to tell the young apart. Other Behaviors: Beg. Equipment Notes: Recorder's HPF on (80Hz, -18dB/octave). Elevation: 176 m.
