Observation details
continuing individual seen previously around the end of January. The individual remained in the same thicket area across checklist so had multiple looks at it. It almost seemed like there was more than one individual because I saw it multiple times in different points in the same stretch, however highly unlikely. It was very loosely in the presence of a cohort of vocal chickadees that flitted around the thicket area. Sharp bill very slender and slightly curved downwards. Subtle white eye arcs that weren't immediately noticeable or striking. Compared to my field guide the black eyeline of the individual was more muted and diffused. Drab overall- mostly an olive tone apart from head of course (being the eastern sub-species). Undertail coverts much brighter than the rest of the body- not necessarily contrasting, but certainly stood out from the rest of its body.
