Observation details
Continuing adult male. Silent. About a quarter mile north of the parking lot. Follow the dirt road next to the parking lot heading north. It bends left then right then there is a large dead tree with dead branches sticking up. I first saw the bird at the edge of the forest here and then it moved back to the east into the forest and was foraging actively and being harassed by a Western Wood-Pewee that apparently didn’t like the competition.
