Song of what was known as Mountain Sooty Boubou, now split as Willard’s Sooty Boubou, from trail into Impenetrable Forest above Buhoma Gorilla Camp, 10:23am. Recorded using a Sony Minidisc Walkman MZ-R70 with a Sennheiser ME67 & foam windscreen.
Observation details
A presumed Grebe lifer, as split from Albertine Sooty Boubou, as our maximum altitude today was ca. 1500m. Described new to science in 2010--and known only from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, sw Uganda, and from Kabira Forest, nw Burundi.
