Observation details

Heard it and then recorded with Merlin Bird id app. Sound was just one of its calls, 2 short, deep/dry notes. I recorded it, but it doesn't come through very well. Saw small, dark wren shaped bird with the tail lifted upright and sort of twitching back and forth, low in the cordgrass just off the walking path between mudflats and pond. There was barely any light, this was just after sunset. Recording has Pied-billed Grebe first, Sedge Wren comes in the first time at 6 seconds and again at about 20 seconds.
