Observation details

Saw a large, light gray dove flush from beside the road. It landed on a power line. Seemed bulkier than a Mourning Dove. I stopped to look and found the bird to have a black collar on the back of the neck and a squared off tail rather than the very pointed tail feathers of a Mourning Dove.
