Observation details
Pictures. The bird is different from the one that appears at my feeder each day. This bird is juvenile - the black stripes are more brown, the yellow spot is not as pronounced. The one at my feeder (house is close to the canyon) is adult. Hanging around with two golden-crowned and two white-crowned sparrows at the west end of the canyon near the dike.
