Observation details
*Lifebird* Field marks: Green feathers on the upper parts, some white on breast and brown on flanks, long curved black bill, white auricular spot behind its eyes, forked black tail; having a chubby aspect. Habitat: Hillside with thicket, which is a flowering plant similar to sunflower; with long prominent braches with no leaves. Grass vegetación, area besides a strawberry plantation. Some Salvia plants still remaining in between. Finding: I was exclusively looking for this specific specie, as I saw a previous record from another birder on eBird.org I was for it. The only way I could make it appear was using playback; so at the first playing it showed up. Evidence: I got sounds recordings but a will be back for pictures. Separation from Sparkling-tail Hummingbird: Curved bill, no white bands on tail, bigger in size.
