Soft calls from dense vegetation on far side of canal. This "Merlin" sound recording unequivocally identified the call as PAWR
Observation details
Soft calls same spot as 1-16, behind large pale plant on opposite side of canal just past stand of first stand of phragmites past bend. 1145. Took 63 min when others have literally spent days!
