Media notes
Coos and some hiccup-like calls from apparent courtship display but may have been aggressive display. The birds became active again near the end of my first announcement. The hiccups may be some variation of Pieplow's "growl song." Lots of wing sounds as the bird(s) move among the rafeters. Remove the gap after the first announcement for a continuous sequence. Normalized to transient sounds from bird wings hitting the metal roofing when they land or move among the rafters. One of three recordings of interactions among two or more Rock Pigeon. The pigeons nest and roost inside the recycle center. The recycle center is an large, old, tin-sided livestock auction barn so the audio has a bit of a metallic echo.
