NOTES: (No. of Animals/Sex: One newborn, unknown sex. Range Status: Captivity. Behav. Context: Parent-young contact? Sound Delivery Rate: high. Gen. Climate: Wet. Cover Density: Thick. Cut length: 1.5.) Newborn in captivity 27 days old, measurements: head and body 50 mm, tail 28 mm, hind feet 15 mm. Mother, female 13, died the night before. Still wobbly on its feet but would go into a tripedal stance and throw head back like an adult. Often would be moving forward as it sang. Adults are always stationary when they sing. It's difficult to hear the pulses of song but the behaviour definitely lets you know when it's singing. Baby died 7 May 1990. Prepared as alcoholic specimen cal 2835. Deposited at University of Kansas. Habitat: Cloudforest, Evergreen Forest.
