NOTES: (Bkground Sounds: Song of captive Scotinomys teguina. Species Sound or Soc. Contact: Frequent. Breeding Status: Breeding. Behav. Context: Parent-young contact. Sound Delivery Rate: Normal? Gen. Climate: Wet. Cut length ~5.) Mother left the nest (see tapes cal 1990-73 through 76). She's in the kitchen foraging. Neonates began a clicking vocalization after she left. The clicking continued sporadically until Mom reentered the nest at 10:50 p.m. Mom was gone from at least 2124 to 2250. The vocalization was not heard after Mom's return (see cal 1990-78 through 1990-79-1). No ultrasonic component detected by QMC bat detector set for broad band high frequencies. Tape 1 of 3.
