Media notes
After a several week absence, I refound the wintering female Williamson's Sapsucker on a large pine tree along the southern edge of the park ,adjacent to the railroad tracks. First she was just resting on the trunk of the pine, then she began foraging at fresh sap wells.
Observation details
Continuing female, last reported on 22 December 2022 by Kevin Floyd. Since all of the palm fruits are long gone I thought she had left, but instead she's relocated to a large pine tree south of Grant St, along the railroad tracks: https://goo.gl/maps/3PU19Eq8QWXWaUxD7.
