Media notes
A Lagden’s Bushshrike sings spontaneously from thick understory in forest at the upper end of the lower (Km 99) entrance to the Swamp Trail, at 6600’ elevation at 11:45am. Unfortunately, it was quite windy; so I’ve filtered the lower frequencies. Digitized from original recording on a Sony TCM-5000, using a Sennheiser ME62 & foam windscreen.
Observation details
Nice look at one (finally!) after lunch at the Km 99 end of the Swamp Trail, 6600'; recording (though it was windy); a lifer look for the Grebe!
