Observation details
Very good looks at the first mixed flock, and then again later nearer the cabins. I played some PIFL tape at the HAFL when we were ID'ing it, and then a PIFL flew right in. We immediately noticed the completely orange lower mandible, much different than the narrow mostly dark lower mandible of the HAFL. Essentially looks like a Western-type flycatcher with gray-green plumage instead of yellow-green. Has the bright orange lower mandible, bright bold tear-drop shaped white eyering, bright wing bars, narrow tail, longer primary projection. Alán and Paul got good pics of the first one, I was very frustrated - as soon as I got it focused and was about to take vid/pic through scope it would fly. The one we saw later was much more cooperative and I got some good shots.
