Observation details
This bird is apparently a late migrant immature female. Yellow extends up from underparts all the way to the bill (apparently typical on Mourning but not on MacGillivray's). The undertail coverts extend further towards the tail tip than on MacGillivray's. The bird was not as secretive as a MacGillivray's, foraging high above the ground (about 4-5 meters, and then in fairly open vegetation close to the ground (MacGillivray's usually forages in denser shrubbery). The bird also called frequently while foraging, with a chip note that I didn't recognize (I recorded it and will add the recording). This was at the eastern end of the Otter Lagoon (Lagoon #5) next to the farm road that crosses the nature trail.
