Observation details
I first had it calling at 730 AM in the oaks in the large parking lot across University Avenue 25.891996, -97.487979 . Then it disappeared. Around 850, I heard it on the west side of the lake just north of land bridge 25.894998, -97.489095. We got only brief looks of it before it disappeared again. Then at 915, it showed up in the trees along the west end of the land bridge 25.894337, -97.489052 (calling). We observed it for 20 minutes before it disappeared again. Others came and waited. Another observer was returning to his car parked at the bookstore and spotted it shortly after 10 AM in an oak tree above his car 25.895968, -97.488703. So the bird sort of moves around. Listen for its vocalizations. During the whole time, it gave its song, not individual call notes.
