Observation details
The audio should be conclusive as classic winter Western Meadowlark call as noted in this article http://alvanbuckley.blogspot.com/2014/11/a-meadowlark-appears.html. The 2.5 white outer tail feathers, thin tail barring, extensive upper chest streaking, very pale overall mantle, diffuse head pattern are all suggestive of Western but would be difficult to make conclusive without the audio.
