Observation details
Same size as nearby Galahs. Largely cream coloured with variously pinkish tinged areas on the body. Short cream crest, bare grey fleshy eyeskin, very dark iris. All flight and tail feathers grey, except the fourth primary on each wing which were cream coloured. Likely a male, paired with a female Galah, which it was preening intimately. Appeared to be standing watch over a rocky nest chamber. Calls were almost exactly that of a Corella. Flight revealed flame coloured armpits.
