Observation details

Habitat is Rocky dry mountain trek path. Both sides are bushy with lantana. Saw a spurfowl going into the bushes. Waited for sometime to see if the bird returns. As there was no sign of the bird. So i played the call of red spurfowl, there was no response. Then I played the song of painted spurfowl, there was response from different areas in the bushes. I could count five different birds atleast. In response to the e mail send to me regarding the call. The call in the first file second half is not a playback recorded. The call I played was the first call from merlin and i stopped the audio soon as I received response from the game bird.
