Observation details
Initial field report is below, but photo review showed 20 GWGos-- count changed from 12 during initial observation to 20 total. Other observers reported 21 GWGos that day. Initial observation: "Originally reported by Cynthia Mullens and Orion Metheny. I was able to find 10 birds in a core group of CAGOs on upslope area around the pond and distant field. Two other birds were intermixed in a group of CAGOs in field downslope of pond and next to Kingwood Pike. Overall brownish-grey birds with white face patch at base of bill, orangish-pink bill, orange legs, white under rump. Smaller than CAGOS. Pics are from a distance but should be confirmatory for this observation-- pending upload. Occassionally heard some GWGos calling, distinctly differ than CAGOs."
