Observation details
One bird singing close by, while another one responds at some distance., I recorded this, despite all the traffic noise, because I am noting a change in the song of this species. Where in Lima the traditional song is a three tone "peeuw peeuw peeuw", with the first tone at the highest pitch, the second at the lowest pitch, a bit longer than the first one, and the third tone in the middle, all three slurring down and without ant trill at the end, this song replaces the third note with a number of short "ta!" sounds: "peeuw peeuw ta-ta-ta-ta!".
