Observation details

Perhaps surprisingly the bird was associating with feeding and drinking American Robin hordes. Orangey-rufous back and sides, no white eyelids but dull yellowish orbital ring, distinct blackish streaks on throat, mostly orangey-yellow bill. Subsequently seen by a number of other observers.
