Observation details

Very large, dark raptor with pale nape, perched up on obvious dead snag close to road. Initially unsure of identity, but upon reviewing photos confident that it was an immature (2y?) Solitary Eagle. Bird allowed for excellent views and photos, before flying off when a bike came past, showing distinctive short tail with white base. At same location as main flock, -3.9257554, -78.6199625
