Observation details

I heard them before I saw them. They were flying in a V before slowly circling up toward the sun, all together. The sun was glinting off their wings as I saw their thin profile, then their thick black silhouettes appeared simultaneously as they’d turn. What a perfect, thin-space moment. At least 55 individuals, but as many as 70.
