Observation details
As reported yesterday afternoon by Gus Daly. Rare Brisbane wader only 7 previous reports here. Single bird with 7 pacific golden plovers out on samphire at the high tide roost. A very active bird constantly moving in the samphire. Similar to Sharp tailed sandpiper but with yellowish legs, shorter black bill, plain face and plain underbelly including chest.
