Media notes
A small amount of yellow and white can be seen near this bird's talons. This is the American Goldfinch that it plucked off of a bird feeder.
Observation details
I saw a motion out of the corner of my eye while sitting at the kitchen table. When I looked up, I saw the sharpie, just reaching the tube feeder in a sideways position, and then flying off into an Uber nearby spruce tree. It then sat there and plucked its prey, which I was able to determine, was a goldfinch. the sharpies attack and presents accounts for the lack of many birds on this list.
