Observation details
Five!!! First found by Aaron Beechy. The birds were foraging in the tall grass of an open field. Was able to get a photo of 4 together. Fifth bird remained somewhat separate from the others. Quite a bit bigger than a Killdeer; black cap with long crest; greenish appearing back; broad black band across the chest; short, small bill, especially considering the size of the bird. Incredible sighting. Beautiful birds.
