Observation details
Continuing bunting found by Chris Hayward. Scoped from cliffs at (37.4779922, -122.4494012) looking down at creek early in visit. Later seen north of creek mouth scaling cliff side and walking along shoreline. White bird, low to ground, horizontal shape and movement like a longspur. Buffy necklace and highlights at rear of auriculars, small yellow-pink bill, rufous-buffy crown. Faint gray postocular line, black and pale tan stripes on back. Rump buffy with dark specks surrounded by white at end and sides. Primaries with dark tips extend almost to tail. Dark gray, caramel, white wings. Dark legs and feet. Sweet caramel sundae.
