NOTES: Purpose of sound: singing in defense of nesting territory; Behavior accompanying vocalization: perched 6ft up in Willow bush [Ten songs by the close bird, all of the same, vaguely two-parted, descending song type. In addition to the songs there are soft, "sip" notes typical of flight calls at 0:07, 0:075, 0:15, 0:22, 0:32-0:34, 0:375, 0:59, 0:595, and 1:08. Six additional songs of a similar song type are given by another bird in the background. There is a cryptic stop-start at 1:145. Quality added (1-2 - despite an odd, humm in the background) - CAM - 21 June 2005]. Habitat: Field, Thicket/Brush.
