The Ibis flyin flocks of 5-15 and congregate on fields covered with irrigation water in groups up to 200 at a time. They forage for earthworms and possibly other insects in the flooded fields. The croaking calls are made sometimes at landing, sometimes at takeoff, sometimes when they get in each other's way while foraging. Best cut is last 2-3 min. of tape.
