Observation details
After reviewer comments, all photos of this bird sighting were re-examined. The color is a bit browner than most other photos seen of this species. Might be due to lighting or camera settings. The overall shape, the location of the sighting, the darker eye and completely yellowed throat and white belly, seem to clearly indicate this newly revised ID is correct. Short-billed Chlorospingus would have a much more obvious light iris. The original ID of Ruddy-tailed Flycatcher was clearly incorrect.
