An apparent intergrade male Northern Flicker that shows a red crescent on the nape of a bird that otherwise looks like a male "Red-shafted" Flicker photographed by Curtis A. Marantz on 30 November 2022 at the Evergreen Cemetery, El Centro, Imperial County, California.
