Observation details
Incredible find by Jane Abel, reported on iNaturalist. When I arrived the bluebird was in the area of 46.309061,-119.262659, a short ways south of the fence, near the river. It associated almost exclusively with a female Mountain Bluebird. They flew to the island for about 15 minutes at one point before returning. They then worked the understory and backs of the trees along the river just south of that point (46.308447,-119.262740) then disappeared for the last 45 minutes or so I was there, searching with the Waggoners, who I heard did get it later after I left. This was a small thrush with short tail, blue above including the scapulars, orange breast extending to the bill and forming a small collar on the sides of the neck, with white belly. Called occasionally and I'll upload that call soon.
