Observation details
The bill on this bird was longer than the bills found on Semi-palmated, Baird's, White-rumped, Western, and Sanderling. Dark legs are in contrast to yellow/orange legs found on Least, Stilt, Pectoral, and Purple Sandpiper. This bird was also seen on 2/27/2014, also in association with Wilson's Snipe. I am not certain of this ID but there have been other reports of lone Dunlin associating with other sandpipers on mudflats in Wake Co.
