Observation details
see photo. First impression was exactly Curlew Sand. Legs longer than peep, shorter than Stilt Sand, relatively slim appearance, black legs, long somewhat decurved bill, broadish at base and relatively fine at tip. Distinct supericilium. Back and scap feathers dusky fringed in rufous giving somewhat scaly effect; no white braces or rusty scaps. Wings similar in pattern but not as contrasty. Sides of chest lightly marked with dull brown. Accepted by CBRC
