Observation details
Continuing bird first discovered by Hugh Ranson yesterday. This wren was small and dark-backed with a stubby, reddish brown tail with black bars that it held straight up over its back. It had a short pale eyebrow, and a lighter tanner belly, and was most pale on the throat and upper breast. It gave a loud "chimp, chimp" call. This bird was first heard by Dave Compton approximately 50 yards downstream of the Calle de los Amigos bridge. From there it moved up to the south side of the bridge, where Hugh had seen it yesterday, but over the next half hour it was seen on both sides of the bridge.
