NOTES: Recordist Notes: This short segment represents a response to a taped playback of Boreal Owl primary call. Area has had Boreal sightings in the poast; however these calls do not sound the same as Boreal owl call. Could be either Long -eared Owl or Saw-whet. Had this response at 2 adj calling stations 1km appart. Did not have recorder ready and missed most of the calls. Response was limited and not repeated. Sound stimulation was (other): Boreal Owl primary call. Response to playback: Orient. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest.
