NOTES: Recordist's notes: These owls roost in a road cut (ash soil; in cavities) Recordings made as I walked thru this cut. My presence aggravated birds and they started to call. Tape is contaminated with wind noise and traffic. Portions of tape recorded in "cut" BP-2 was not functioning corectly in this setting and static can be heard. BNA: Possibly the Distress Call is heard. CZ 14/04/2004. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Rural, Active Agricultural, Field.
