Observation details
Continuing from at least November 6 when it was first reported by Deanna Nichols. Medium-size flycatcher with pale yellow belly, grayish flanks, long, wide bill with yellow/orange mandible, whitish wing bars, and slightly crested/ragged crown/crest. Repeatedly sallying for insects and returning to perches. Sometimes uttering soft "pip, pip, pip, pip" calls. Seen perched atop large dead tree just west and south of Tingley and Alcalde intersection at bosque entrance at 11:23 am. Then disappeared. Returned or still present at 11:55. Still present at 12:42 when I left. Able to get six other birders on it. Photos and brief audio.
