Observation details

Incredibly large flock among other ducks on the water off of the 64th street pond (49.0492135, -123.0398650). Careful estimate made by counting in groups of 10. Small brownish ducks, many of which with their tails pointed in the air. The males had distinct white cheek patches. A flock this size is unlike anything I’ve seen before! Very distant, scope recommended. Spread out over a long line of water, photo showcases some of the flock.
