NOTES: sunset +2.0hrs; species cut number 15 BNA: The 2-note plaintive "ker-wee" (also described as "per-weep" or "ter-ee") is heard throughout the recording. CZ 17/02/2004. [Fifty-three examples from the closer bird of the plaintive "ker-wee" call described in BNA. A comparable number of these calls are given by a second bird in the background and there are at least five or six "whinnies," also given by birds in the background. Quality changed from 1 to 2-1 (approaching 1-2 - but with a soft rumble in the background, possibly given by a large flock of birds) - CAM - 12 April 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
