NOTES: dawn +2.5hrs; species cut number 18 BNA: Male song is heard with mimicry in the 7th song (1:26). Elements of Towsend's Solitaire can be heard in this song. CZ 20/07/2004. [Fourteen songs, some of which do not have any identifiable elements of mimicry. Most songs, however, do appear to have a "subterminal" or terminal element that sounds much like the call of Myadestes townsendi (songs beginning at 0:07, 0:19, 0:33, 1:09, 1:22, 1:45, 1:53, 2:07, 2:32, 2:42, and 2:54) and some end with sounds somewhat like a call of Cyanccitta setlleri (e.g., 0:19, 0:33, 1:22, 2:42, and 2:54). The song beginning at 1:31 combine two of the former elements with one of the latter. Quality changed from 1 to 1-2 (possibly a little better towards the end) - CAM - 7 February 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest, Montane Grassland, Meadow.
