Observation details
Small hooded gull with a dark mantle, light neck and dark tail band(possible 1st winter gull). It was sitting in the water with the other gulls for a good comparison, about the same size as the Bonaparte’s Gull but smaller than Ring-billed Gulls. Reported in this area of Jordan Lake since October 17th. The Gulls did not settle on the lake until after the Jet Skis and boats left the lake around sunset. We first saw the Gull around 6:20 PM.
