Observation details
One adult LAGU was present during our whole stay on the island. It spent most of its time catching insects on the wing and being aggressive towards a Common Raven and us when we approached the southwest side of the island. It was very vocal and flew over our heads while we walked, but never did swoop down close. It was clear that it was defending its territory. We walked around the southwest end but did not find a nest or young. At one point, another adult LAGU came in from the southwest vocalizing a few times, flew near the first, circled once or twice then kept flying northeast.
