Observation details
In shoreline brush along bikepath, west side of lake. Seen from about 15-20 ft away in dense vegetation. Viewed mostly from above, although face visible on occasion. Carol Weiss was able to get better views of full body. From my vantage point I noted that the back and nape were unstriped, gray in color with no contrast between head and back. Distinct, but small, black stripe through eye, with obvious white supercilium and white patch below eye. Very active, searching through vegetation. Able to obtain only one, very poor photo. Shot seems to indicate a greenish rump, gray tail with dark outer feathers and tips.
