NOTES: Purpose of vocalization: calling because of disturbance of young in nest; Behavior accompanying vocalization: perched in top of dead Spruce, Perched in top of Willow tree, Perched in top of live Spruce; When not vocalizing bird was perched in top of Spruce tree; Nest 12ft. up in top of old Birch stump. Nest cavity hollowed out in top of stump. 3 young in nest. 2 young already left nest. Nestlings were banded. Smallest in nest=587-22201; Next smallest in nest=587-22202; Largest in nest=587-22203; Out of nest=had left nest and were about a 100 yards away in an easterly direction. Smallest out of nest=587-22204; Largest out of nest=587-22205. BNA: Possibly the "Alarm Call" or "Screeching Call" of an adult is heard as well as "screeeee-yip" (of either adult or nestling).
